‍Welcome to the Skillibrium  Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) website.  We operate Skillibrium .com (including all subdomains, the “Site”) and the Skillibrium  Data Platform Services. 

This Privacy Policy applies to the personal data we obtain when you interact with us and our brands; use our website located at www.skillibrium.com, use our Data Platform Services, our application at https://app.skillibrium.com/skillibrium or use our other online services; or apply for a job with us or otherwise connect with us (collectively, the “Services”).  By using any Service, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

Definitions

PERSONAL DATA means data about a living individual who can be reasonably identified from that data (or from that and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).  We collect several types of Personal Data, which are described below in more detail.  

USAGE DATA is data collected automatically either generated by the use of Service or from Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).  Usage Data we collect is described below in more detail.  

COOKIES are small files stored on your device (computer or mobile device).  The cookies we use are described below in more detail.

Retention of Data

Transfer of Data

‍Skillibrium Inc is an entity which is based in the United States of America and many of our Service Providers are based in the USA. This means that if you reside outside of the USA, your personal data will be transferred to the USA.  If you reside in the European Economic Area or the UK, we will protect your personal data in accordance with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.  We will take steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are controls in place designed to secure your data and other personal information.

We implement appropriate measures and processes, such as using encryption when transmitting certain sensitive information, to help us keep your information secure and to maintain its quality.  We regularly review our security and related policies to adapt the technology as new threats evolve, and monitor our systems to help ensure the highest level of availability. Do Not Track; Global Opt-out

We honor Do Not Track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track browser mechanism is in place. Service Providers and Third Party Use of Personal Data

‍We may employ third party Service Providers to facilitate our Service, provide Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services including analytics and development, show advertising to you to help support and maintain our Service, or assist us in analysing how our Service is used.  ‍We may also use remarketing Service Providers to advertise on third party websites to you after you visited our Service. Sale and sharing of Personal Data

We do not sell your Personal  Data or transfer Personal  Data to third parties to use for their own benefit; however, as noted above we allow certain of our third-party Service Providers (like LinkedIn and Google) to place tracking technologies like cookies and tags on our Services. Those companies receive information about your interaction with our Services that is associated with your browser or device and may use that data to serve you relevant ads on websites or services where they perform such activities.  Except for this kind of disclosure, we do not “sell” any of your Personal  Data within the meaning of applicable law.  

We may “share” your Personal  Data as defined by applicable law for purposes of targeted advertising relating to our products.  

The data we disclose to or receive from third-party Service Providers may be subject to the privacy policies of those parties as well as to ours.  You may have a direct contractual relationship with some of our third-party Service Providers (such as LinkedIn).  Additionally, the services provided to us by such third-party Service Providers may entail collection and processing of personal data by them that is broader than the data they provide to us.
